Zimbabwe born award-winning Tarisai Vushe has dropped her new album titled Redemption which is a fervent appeal to God to redeem the world from all sorts of crises plaguing the universe.
The talented songstress, endowed with a melodious voice that can be likened to Whitney Houston’s, shot to prominence with her bubbly personality in 2007 through the Australian Idol where she finished among the top five contestants.
The new song Redemption, recorded in Georgia, in the United States, reveals Tarisai Vushe’s soft spot for humanity in which she implores the appeasement and intervention of the Almighty God to rescue the world from wars, natural disasters and diseases plaguing the universe.
Tarisai, who studied Psychology and Music Theatre at the Australian Institute of Music, released her first single Head Over Heels in 2010 under Tommirock Records and received two AAMA awards for best single of the year and Best Female artist of the year. In 2011, she starred on crime American television series Killer Instinct and Deadly Women.
Tarisai’s passion for music began at the tender age of eight when she starting singing.
Armed with unquestionable artistic skills, Tarisai has also showcased her talents in various television programmes and events, including Channel sevens Big Arvo in 2001, but it wasn’t until 2007 that she became a household name, starring on Channel Tens Australian Idol, settling for the fifth position.
Come February 5th 2018, the diva is scheduled to tour Canada, Hong Kong, China, Philippines and the United Kingdom as well as graced festivals such as the Josh Fest in California USA.
