South African songstress, Lazy Zamar has been revealed as the headlining act for the sixth Lobatse International Beef Festival (LIBF).
The vibrant and dynamic SAMA Best Dance Album winner will warm the chilly night at the celebrated beef festival with her vocal dance music on June 30 at Lobatse Town Park.
Along with Botswana artistes and DJs, this year’s beef festival promises to be a good one for the revellers.
In an interview, one of the organisers, Rebatho Tumagole said the event would have a lineup of Botswana renowned artistes like Motlha of Mmamotse fame and DJs as well as upcoming artist and/or DJ from Lobatse. However, she indicated that a slot for a Lobatse performer would be accorded through a competition dubbed ‘Lobatse’s Sauce Dj’.
She explained that the competition was open to all upcoming DJs from Lobatse.
Traditional meat favourites like mokoto, mokwetjepe, and serobe will be part of the delicacies to be served on the day.
Tumagole stated that whether a food lover in search of tasty and hearty feast or just out for fun with friends and/or family, LIBF was sure to exceed expectations as the event promises revellers a culinary adventure coupled with premium entertainment.
Tumagole further said VIP guests would be offered food prepaped by local chefs.
She added that guests could also treat themselves to the bevy of beverages on offer from displaying suppliers on the day.
“LIBF is also a networking opportunity whilst enjoying premium food and entertainment on offer,” she said.
Tickets are already on sale at all Webtickets for P250, and P550 for VIP.
