Tanzania: Beauty queen, Lady jaydee sings “I Miss You“ in new track

The new track, I Miss You by Lady Jaydee hit the music world less than a week ago and is already making the rounds.

I miss You produced by Man Water (Combination Sounds) is another classic from legendary Lady JayDee. It is a sensational and true expression of how a lover feels when missing a partner.

The video which is also available in the markets across the world is directed by Justin Campos and Icandi Campos of Gorillas Films.

Jaydee blends rich soulful African vocals with arrangements and instrumentation combining both African traditional and modern influences.

In a ddition to using using Swahili as her primary langauge in her musc, the Tanzanian diva , who started singing in church at the age of 7, has songs that incoprate English, French, Lingala and Zulu.

Lady Jaydee, born as Binti Machozi, rose to prominence in 2001 when she released her first solo album titled ‘Machozi’ which crowned her Tanzanian Best Female Artiste.

She has continued winning numerous awards in and out of Tanzania including the most recent award in South Africa during the Channel O Video Music Award Best African East 2003, for her video Machozi  2005 for the ‘Distance’ and best Collaboration Video with Titi from Uganda for “ Makini” video.
